The Sunday Currently | Volume 24

Hi. I’m currently doing a lot of things. No their not big deal. But somehow they take a lot of my energy especially now that I’m not 100% motivated to do them. So I decided to take a break and write this post…and also because my internet connection will be off later and will be back only on the 18th. Haha.

Explaining: The featured picture. It’s a Sunday routine to prepare my lesson plans and instructional materials for the whole week. Not that they are not prepared already. I’m using them since 2015. Haha. I’m just trying to improve them at least. Also, I’m editing an audio of The Battle with Grendel which will be my topic for this week. I recorded it using my own voice and I’m trying to add sound effects and background music. I need to put all this effort since I can’t find a recorded audio of this long piece in the internet. And considering my learners’ level, I need to make something more interesting than a conventional discussion.

By the way, I’m using the oldest movie maker nowadays. Haha. 2007 I think? And I got my netbook last 2011. Six years with me already. 😭

Frustrated: I’m trying to record something. But these neighbors…the kids…they are soooo soooo noisy! Could they shut the heck up for a while? Just 10 minutes of silence please! Then here comes the dog barking and cats meowing. And vehicles vrooming! Onomatopoeia! 👿

Feeling: Tired. But in a good way. I’m following this exercise routine that enhances lower muscles like the thighs and butt. 🙈🙊 Haha. I should not be admitting these things. But someone urged me to at least try soft workouts and I’m saying yes to it! 💪🏻

Eating: I’m not eating right now but maybe I’ll eat later those deep fried buns with cheese. My mother always buy such from the market during Sundays. Always.

Reading: What should you expect? I’m still on Haruki Murakami’s Kafka on the Shore. 😅 But I also started reading from my iBooks a novel entitled The Upside of Unrequited. So far, I still feel like a stranger to the characters.

Remembering: I don’t remember anything in particular. I don’t want to think that much for now.

Playing: Descendants of the Sun’s Always and You’re my Everything…The only songs in my download app, aside from Despacito which I’ve been trying soooo hard to memorize. 😂😂😂

Looking: Randomly at online shops. But I got no plans to buy anything since I purchased a whole lot last week, I mean, 5 items only. 😷

Thinking: Of my thesis. I should get all my senses back and finish the last six units of my Master’s degree.

Thinking Again: Of how to survive another week and another month before payday. 🤑

Appreciating: The things myself had done for the past years: the ready instructional material and lesson plans. I will be doing less as time goes by.

Craving: For icecream! 🍦

Wishing: To hear from someone.

Missing: A lot. But I’m fine being alone right now.

Thanking: God for all the blessings I received this week.

Daydreaming: Of beach. Of hands to hold onto. And soft sand to walk together. And cool breeze to inhale as a proof of being alive together. Such a hopeless romantic…

Loving: More of excited. I hope they’ll be shipping the items I purchased soon. I want to see them already. It’s my first time to purchased from this online shop that exclusively sew the clothes they’re selling.

Oh. Am I such a lonely person that these are the only things I look forward to?
